Little Current to the Benjamin Island
We finally partied out in Little Current and needed to get moving. Wendy and I decided to go to the Benjamin Islands to anchor out for a night and to see the Croker Islands right next to them. Allen and Sheri were headed to the Hotham Islands and we would meet them there the next day. Horst on the Anne Harper was going to come with us to the Benjamins.
We made the ride there, rafted up with the Anne Harper, and tossed the dinghy in the water and rode all around the Benjamins and Croker Islands with Horst.
The scenery around the islands were great.
When we were riding around, we found this high diver in action.
We cooked dinner and ate on the Anne Harper while the winds were blowing like crazy. After we got to bed, the winds finally laid down.

Benjamins to Hotham
We headed over to the Hotham Islands to meet back up with the Sea Y'all. Had a nice ride over especially since it was only about a 10 mile ride. Found the Sea Y'all in a cove, got anchored, and went exploring in Lil Hooker.
The camera filled up so I missed a shot of all the ladies.
The cottagers, Elaine and Norm, in the bay are super friendly. Al and Sherry have known them for a while and they will come out to the boat and invite you to happy hour on their deck. You just don't see that everyday. We all met up and had cocktails and shared stories. They are super nice people. Afterwards, we cooked our dinner and met up with Horst to eat on his boat.
Yet another great sunset.
The mosquitos came out with a vengeance so we hid in the Anne Harper and had cocktails. Wendy and I finally got brave and hurried home to the boat. Stayed up way to late again but with great company it is easy to do.

Hotham Anchorage to Spanish
Once again we were up but not to sure where to go, so many places, so little time. We decided to go to Spanish, a little town not to far.
The Anne Harper was going to go also. Once again the weather was perfect. Once we got into Spanish, the winds picked up a lot.
Recouping from his nasty spill
The Anne Harper showed up a couple hours later and we got a taxi ride to the only restaurant open at the time. We had wings and they were really good. Not much to see at Spanish so we turned in early.

Spanish to Beardrop Anchorage
We took care of some chores first thing and the Anne Harper pulled out early to go see a couple anchorages. We shoved off and was going to do the same thing. Figured we would just go until we found a spot we liked. The first one was Beardrop and the Anne Harper was already anchored. Looked like a nice spot so we rafted up with Horst and jumped in the dinghy and went exploring.
Came back, had happy hour, went over to anchor the boat, then cooked dinner and ate on the Anne Harper with Horst. Saw another great sunset along with a Bald Eagle flying right over us and then he was attacked by several sea gulls. Finished having cocktails and off to bed.

Beardrop to Blind River Marina
After a quiet night on the hook, we managed to get going and figured we would go around to Longpoint Cove to check it out due to it being kind of on the way to Blind River.
We pulled in and tossed the anchor to have lunch and dinghy around. After a while, the Anne Harper pulled in and decided he would just run to Blind River. We finished eating and pulled out to head over there ourselves.
The Sea Y'all, Anne Harper, and us, all ended up on the end of the same dock. Allen had reserved us all a spot and the Quo Vadimus was there also. We first headed to the grocery store for some food on the marinas loaner bikes.
Sure beats walking
After we got back from that, the Quo Vadimus crew and Wendy and I headed back to town on the bikes for dinner but also had to make one trip to the LCBO. Came back to the dock and everybody hung out with several locals and had docktails.
Dammit Sheri, where's my drink.
Several people are headed to Turnbull anchorage for a beach party Saturday night so we are headed there too for our last night in the North Channel. If we survive the party and can get moving Sunday morning, we should be back in the good Ole USA Sunday afternoon.

Blind River to Turnbull
Last night was probably our last night in a marina in Canada. We took advantage of the facilities and did some chores in the morning and they have a nice little cafe so we walked up and got a good breakfast. Most of the locals were already gone to head over to the anchorage for the beach party when we finally got going. We putted the 10 miles back east and found a spot to anchor and stern tie to a big rock. The Sea Y'all arrived and anchored in the bay but the Anne Harper came over came over and rafted with us.
We got in the dinghy and went exploring. Another couple showed us an Eagle nest around the corner. Al and Sherry had told us they wanted to have us over for a farewell dinner on their boat. Horst, Wendy and I went to the Sea Y'all for dinner and had fresh fish that Al had caught the last few days.
We had a great meal and some cocktails and got ready to head to the beach party right before dark. I rode over to the beach and immediately got handed some shots. They had shots of all kinds.
I got back to the boat after dark and showered up for bedtime. Our last night in the North Channel was a good one.
Sun setting on one side of the bay.
And the big moon coming up on the other side.
Thanks to all the locals for inviting us to their beach for a good party and to the Sea Y'all crew for an outstanding dinner. We have had a great time hanging out with Al and Sheri and really appreciate them showing us around the area and cruising it with us.

Turnbull to Drummond Island
Getting going was a little tough this morning cause we knew we would be out of this beautiful area today. I looked at the forecast and figured it would be better to get going. We had contemplated staying one more day if the forecast look good. Put up the dinghy, said goodbye to everyone and headed west for Drummond Island.
It was smooth cruising all the way.
The Anne Harper pulled out a few minutes earlier. The ride over was flat with the light wind from the east. We arrived at Drummond Island Yacht Haven and got a slip next to the Anne Harper.
Horst was thinking about leaving his boat at the marina in storage for the winter and continuing his loop next year. We got a loaner car from the marina and explored the island a little. Being a Sunday, everybody was closed for dinner before we got there. We went back to the boat and had steaks with Horst.
After the party last night and the long ride today, we were tired so off to bed early.
The scenery around the islands were great.
